Multiple pregnancies had stretched out this 32-year-old woman’s abdominal skin, and she wanted to know if a Beverly Hills area plastic surgery procedure could help. This surgery is performed under general anesthesia and begins with an incision from hip to hip. The incision is positioned low enough that the thin scar will be concealed easily beneath underwear or lingerie. Through this incision the surgeon carefully sutures loose abdominal muscles tight, then trims away excess fat and skin and repositions the belly button without detaching it, before closing the original incision.

This patient’s surgery and recovery went very well, and afterward her whole abdomen and upper-pubic area are much smoother and firmer. Even though she did not receive liposuction for her back and sides, her firmer tummy helps give her whole body a much softer, more appealing contour.
