Following her breast surgery, this 44-year-old woman was concerned about the scar around her areola (the skin around the nipple). Wanting the scar to blend in more, she contacted Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to apply permanent makeup in Los Angeles. Among other things, permanent makeup can be used to camouflage scars by injecting flesh-colored micropigment into the skin. After her procedure, this patient’s scar is nearly invisible in the “after” photos. She was very pleased with the results.
