Details for Case #12830
This 67-year-old female had had permanent makeup applied to her eyelids and brows years earlier, but the pigment had faded and she wanted the color to look sharper. She knew the importance of finding a qualified professional to perform her procedure, so she visited Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in Los Angeles for a consultation.
At her meeting, she explained that she liked the convenience of permanent makeup and that she wanted a touch-up. The skin care technician listened patiently and then presented her options, including pigment color and aesthetic results. The patient chose a shade of black for her eyeliner (similar to what she had previously) and opted for a medium shade of brown for her eyebrows. She also chose to have slightly thicker eyeliner on her upper lid and asked that the lower eyelid be more defined. Once she and the technician agreed on a plan, they scheduled an appointment for treatment at Marina’s Los Angeles plastic surgery practice.
The procedure went very smoothly and took about an hour. She was given the choice of a topical or a local anesthetic so that she would be comfortable during the session. After the procedure, she was given an antibiotic ointment to use and was instructed to avoid applying makeup or going into direct sunlight for a few days. Now, she enjoys the enhanced color of her permanent makeup and is very grateful to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates.
