- Nose Reshaping
Details for Case #10621
Years earlier, this 19-year-old woman had nose and septal surgery, but was disappointed with her results. She felt that her nose looked crooked and misshapen and had difficulty breathing through her nose as well. Wanting to have a more natural-looking nose and to be able to breathe more easily, she decided to find a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon who could help her achieve the look she wanted.
After considering her options, she scheduled a consultation at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates and met with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. She explained to her surgeon how unhappy she had been with her previous results and the difficulty she had trying to breathe through her nose. To correct her breathing and achieve the look she wanted, her surgeon had to perform a revision rhinoplasty, septoplasty, spreader grafts and turbinate surgery. The rhinoplasty would modify the appearance of the nose, while the septoplasty, spreader grafts and turbinate surgery would help to treat the function of her nose by modifying the internal structures and opening up her nasal passages.
After her Los Angeles rhinoplasty and septoplasty were completed, she returned two months later and had her “after” photos taken. Her profile has been subtly transformed; the slope of her nose is much more gradual and perky and the overall shape of her nose is much more in balance with the rest of her facial features. She was very happy with her results.
