Nose Reshaping Case

This 31-year-old woman wanted only a subtle improvement to the shape of her nose. She was unhappy with the slight dorsal hump on the bridge of her nose and wanted her nose to have a more gradual slope. After considering her options for Los Angeles rhinoplasty, she decided to contact Marina Plastic Surgery Associates for an appointment.

When she met with her surgeon, she explained her concerns as he examined her nose. Since she wanted only a slight modification, the procedure would be fairly quick and easy to perform. She had the choice between having an “open” incision and a “closed” incision procedure; with the open procedure, she would have a slight scar between her nostrils and with a closed procedure, she would have no visible scarring. After she and her surgeon decided on the details of her Los Angeles plastic surgery, she eagerly scheduled her surgery.

After she was given time to recover from her surgery, she returned to our office for her postoperative evaluation. As can be seen in her “after” photos, the slope of her nose has been altered to slope more gradually and her nasal hump is completely gone. When asked how she felt about her new nose, she said she was very happy with the results of her surgery and was grateful to her surgeon for his excellent work.
