Nose Reshaping Case

This 23-year-old man wanted to have a smaller nose and a nasal tip that was less bulbous. He began looking for a Los Angeles plastic surgeon who had been performing rhinoplasty for some time. After learning about Marina Plastic Surgery Associates, he decided to schedule a consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons.

He expressed his concerns to his surgeon during his consultation and asked how his surgeon could achieve the look he wanted. His surgeon explained that to most effectively reshape his nose he would have to use an “open” incision technique. The open technique uses a small incision made inconspicuously beneath the nose and allows for more maneuverability during surgery. His surgeon would reshape the bridge of his nose and the tip of his nose to create a more discrete profile for this patient.

Six weeks after his rhinoplasty in Los Angeles, these after photos were taken. As can be seen in the photos, his nose has been subtly transformed, revealing a smaller but still very masculine nose. He will also likely see more definition once the swelling subsides even further over the course of the year. He was very pleased with the results and was glad he decided to have the surgery done.
