Nose Reshaping Case

This 16-year-old girl wanted to reduce the size and prominence of her nose. With the support of her parents, she began searching for a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles and came across the Marina Plastic Surgery Associates. Impressed with the before and after photos on their Web site, she requested a consultation.

The patient and her parents met with the surgeon to discuss her options. The surgeon asked her to hold up a mirror and pinpoint exactly what she didn’t like about her nose. She mentioned that she didn’t like the way she looked when viewed from the side and that she would like her nose to have a gentler slope. He told her that she would be an ideal candidate for rhinoplasty in Los Angeles. She agreed to the procedure with her parents’ permission and set up a date for surgery.

During the procedure, her surgeon reduced the size of her dorsal bump and lifted her nasal tip slightly. She is shown three months later with no remaining bruising or noticeable scarring. She is happy with her profile and the straighter shape of her nose.
