This 30-year-old man was unhappy with the look and size of his nose. Wanting to have a narrower nose with a thinner and more natural-looking nasal tip, he decided to find a Los Angeles rhinoplasty surgeon who could help him achieve the look he wanted. After some consideration, he contacted Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to learn more about rhinoplasty.

During his consultation, his surgeon asked him what he would like to change about his nose. He said that he was mainly concerned with the width of his nose and the shape of his nasal tip, which he wanted to be narrower. His surgeon explained that to achieve the look he wanted he would need to undergo a closed septorhinoplasty, ear cartilage grafts to the tip, and nostril wedge resections. The closed procedure means that his surgeon would only make an incision inside of his nose and with the added cartilage from his ears, his surgeon would reconstruct his nose.

One year after his Los Angeles cosmetic surgery, this patient’s “after” photos were taken to show his improvement. As the photos show, his nose has been radically transformed, but still looks natural and is much more in balance with his face. His nostrils are noticeably narrower and the tip of his nose looks completely natural. He was very pleased with the results.
