This 27-year-old woman wanted to slim down her figure even more, so she and her roommate decided to find a Los Angeles or Santa Monica plastic surgeon who could perform liposuction for them. To optimize the shape of her body, her plastic surgeon recommended that she have power-assisted liposuction, where an electric motor vibrates the liposuction tool, the cannula, during the procedure in order to more efficiently remove fatty deposits. Often, with power assistance, the liposuction surgery can be done more rapidly and can better treat difficult areas than without the motor.

The “after” photos show the patient looking slimmer and fitter than she did in the “before” photos. With liposuction alone, this patient was able to achieve the look she wanted and she was able to share the experience with her roommate. Afterwards, she was thrilled with the results and was happy that she had decided to undergo liposuction in Los Angeles.
