This 17-year-old was extremely self-conscious about her profile, particularly her chin. She felt it made her neck and the area under her chin look disproportionately fuller in relation to her thin body.

The surgeon recommended that the Los Angeles patient have a chin implant and liposuction of the neck.

By performing these 2 complementary procedures, Dr. Stevens was able to add definition to the patient’s chin, creating a better balance with the rest of her face. Slimming her neck area with liposuction added to the overall effect. By having the 2 procedures at the same time, the patient experienced less downtime than if she had undergone the procedures separately.

The patient is very pleased with her results. She loves seeing herself in photos now, and her self-confidence has increased a great deal.
