This 74 year old woman looked good for her age but still was not happy with the aging skin and wrinkles on her face. She was tired of her large pores, the think texture of skin, wrinkles and more extensive skin folds, and brown discolorations. She came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates wanting to achieve a natural glow to her skin again.

After reviewing her skin, her treatment professional recommended Cutera® Pearl Fractional. This advanced laser skin rejuvenation treatment can improve the look, tone and texture of the skin using advanced technology that renews the skin from within.

Her treatment began with a topical anesthetic being applied to increase comfort during the procedure. Patients often experience a feeling like a series of fast pinches – kind of like the snap of a rubber band. The laser works to increase volume within the skin and encourage renewal of the skin’s surface layer for a smoother and more even complexion. This patient, like all of our patients treated with Cutera Pearl Fractional, was able to head home immediately after her appointment.

The photos shown here were taken before the procedure and 10 weeks post treatment. The full results of the treatment are not yet visible because the skin will continue to renew itself and collagen will continue to rebuild itself for roughly 3 to 6 months after a single treatment session.
