This 51 year old woman came to the practice seeking a non-surgical treatment to change the appearance of her cheeks and marionette. With a strong desire for a more youthful volume, she considered all of her options for Los Angeles skin care and decided that she wanted Perlane® injections.

Perlane is dermal filler which was used on this patient to soften her wrinkles and facial lines. Perland is similar to the filler Restylane, but contains a more concentrated amount of the active ingredient to tackle deeper and more prominent wrinkles, along with depressions in the skin. During the treatment two syringes of Perlane were injected into this patient’s cheeks and marionette lines. Perlane contains a natural body chemical – hyaluronic acid – which filled up her skin, helping to provide fullness and elasticity. This treatment was very quick and required no downtime for the patient.

As the before and after photos show, her treatment of Perlane in Los Angeles worked very well. Along her cheekbone her wrinkles appear to have minimized and her skin looks much more youthful. This patient was very pleased with the restored volume in her face and plans regular refresher treatments to maintain her more youthful look.
