This 44 year old woman came to our office saying that she wanted a more youthful looking face. She still had a youthful complexion overall but wanted to improve the appearance of her cheeks and smile lines. What she really wanted was to look refreshed without having a facial surgery procedure.

After a consultation, we recommended a wrinkle filler treatment. We offer many fillers for our patients including JUVÉDERM®, Restylane® and Radiesse®. This patient chose Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite injectable that is an effective alternative to bovine collagen as well as solid implant materials.

Treatment took place immediately following her consultation. Two syringes of 1.5cc Radiesse were injected into her nasolabial folds and cheeks. While the difference is subtle, you can see in her “after” photo that her cheeks have a plumper appearance and there are fewer lines around her mouth.
