This 49-year-old woman was unhappy with her elongated earring hole. Many women find that wearing earrings over a period of many years can stretch the skin, resulting in large and bothersome holes. This patient wanted a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon with the experience to help her achieve a natural looking result.

She came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates for a consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons to see what her options were for repairing the skin on her ear. She decided to have simple surgery to close the hole and allow the skin to come together for a more natural appearance. Recovery from this procedure is relatively simple, since it doesn’t involve extensive surgery.

This patient was able to return to her normal schedule relatively soon after surgery. She returned to our plastic surgery practice in Los Angeles to have photos taken of her results and to share how happy she was with the outcome. As you can tell from her pictures, the original earring hole closed up with little sign of the procedure. She reports that she is very happy with her treatment experience.
