Breast Reduction (for Women) Case

This 61-year-old woman experienced a great deal of pain because of her breast size (36 DDD/E) and was often limited in her activity because of them. Her breasts had become an inconvenience to her since she had to special order bras because department stores did not carry her size. After being unhappy with her breasts for many years, she decided on meeting with a surgeon to discuss whether Los Angeles breast reduction might be a good idea. She made an appointment with one of the board-certified plastic surgeons at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to find relief.

When she met with her surgeon, he recommended that she not only have a breast reduction but a Laser Bra breast lift as well. The reduction would reduce the size of her breasts and the lift would bring her breasts to a higher position on the chest. As an additional part of the breast lift, the Laser Bra helps to maintain the lifted position of the breasts after surgery. The Laser Bra does not add significantly more time under the knife and does not leave additional scarring since it is sutured to the chest wall internally. What the Laser Bra does is utilize a patch of skin that is normally discarded during breast lift surgery to support the breast tissue after surgery. The skin is treated with a CO2 laser and then internally sutured into the breast to provide support.

After her procedures, this patient is now at a comfortable 36 C+. She is very happy with the new size and shape of her breasts and very grateful that she can now buy bras right off the rack.
