- Breast Reduction (for Women)
Details for Case #8484
This 26 year old woman from Manhattan Beach, California was interested in breast reduction in Beverly Hills or Los Angeles and came to our practice to learn more about her options. At 5’5″ and 160 pounds, she was in a healthy weight range but her 38 DDD breasts created significant discomfort and made it difficult to find shirts and tops that were flattering.
At her consultation at our offices in Marina del Rey, her surgeon carefully reviewed her existing breast anatomy and told her she was an excellent candidate for bilateral breast reduction along with breast lift (mastopexy) using the Stevens Laser Bra. She decided to have both procedures to achieve a completely rejuvenated breast appearance.
During surgery, 485 grams (a little over 1 pound) of excess tissue was removed from the right breast and 445 grams (a little under 1 pound) of excess tissue was removed from the left breast. The reason for the slightly different amounts of tissue being removed was the patient’s existing breast asymmetry, which was largely corrected through surgery.
To create a more youthful-looking breast appearance and maintain her results for years to come, she also chose to have Laser Bra breast lift. In this procedure, a flap of skin is used to internally connect the breast to the chest wall, anchoring it in place so that it is better able to withstand the effects of gravity and aging.
She is seen here 4 months after her Beverly Hills breast lift and Laser Bra procedure.
