Details for Case #8385
This 33-year-old mother felt great discomfort because of her large and heavy breasts and felt that their dramatic asymmetry made it difficult for her to fit into many outfits. Since her breasts were such a constant annoyance, she decided to find a Los Angeles plastic surgeon who could reshape her breasts and relieve her concerns in the process.
During her consultation at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates, her surgeon examined her breasts and suggested that she undergo both a breast reduction and breast lift surgery. He explained that the breast reduction would decrease the size of her breasts, but since there was a great deal of asymmetry and since her breasts had begun to sag, a breast lift with the Laser Bra would also be beneficial.
The Laser Bra procedure not only lifts the breasts, it provides internal support to the breast tissue following surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon takes a section of excess skin that is usually removed during surgery, treats it with a CO2 laser and then sutures it to the chest wall underneath the breast. Once the skin is sutured in, her surgeon closes the incision and the internal “bra” continues to support the tissue thereafter.
Following her Los Angeles breast reduction and Laser Bra breast lift, this patient was incredibly pleased with the results. Her symptoms improved immediately and her breasts were more symmetrical and perky.
