Breast Augmentation Case

This is a 21-year-old twin who wanted to enlarge the size of her breasts to be approximately a C-cup size. She wanted a plastic surgeon that had a lot of experience and was an expert at performing breast enhancement procedures. Even though there are several highly qualified Los Angeles and Santa Monica plastic surgeons, she decided that she wanted to speak with a plastic surgeon from Marina Plastic Surgery Associates.

A board-certified plastic surgeon met with her to discuss procedures for breast enlargement in Los Angeles. Her surgeon took into account factors such as her desires, body anatomy, and skin type so that he could give her the best possible advice. Since her breasts were already very symmetrical and elevated, he suggested that she get a breast augmentation using moderate profile saline implants.

During her procedure, her breast implants were inserted through areolar incisions. These incisions are made around the skin that surround the nipple, and compared to many other incision locations they provide very faint scars. Once the incisions were made her surgeon lifted the breast tissue, creating a pocket in the breast area. This pocket was made below her pectoral muscle where the implants were placed (submuscular placement). Afterwards her surgeon stitched up her incisions and led her on the path to recovery.

Her breasts maintained their elevated and youthful appearance but enlarged in volume, which was exactly what she wanted. She is thrilled to be able to wear a C-cup bra size.
