Breast Augmentation Case

This 24-year-old woman underwent a breast augmentation procedure performed by a board-certified Los Angeles plastic surgeon at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates. She chose to have the procedure because she was bothered by the lack of curviness and small size of her breasts. After meeting with her plastic surgeon and discussing her options, they scheduled an appointment for her surgery.

This patient chose saline implants, which are often a popular choice because they are filled easily after being placed. During her breast surgery, her saline implants were filled to size 325 cc and were inserted through areolar incisions into submuscular pockets. By placing the implants below the muscle, this allows the chest wall to slope naturally. This gave her breasts a very sharp, natural looking profile post-surgery.
