This 35-year-old woman wanted to improve the appearance of her small breasts and was considering breast augmentation in Los Angeles. At 5’4″ tall and 115 pounds, she has a slender figure but was looking to achieve a more ample breast size and shape. She was particularly unhappy with how her breasts looked in profile, with very little projection from the chest wall.

Prior to surgery she was a 34 B. She wasn’t looking to “go big” and instead wanted a subtle but naturally enhanced appearance. When she met with her surgeon at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates, he talked with her about her implant options, recommending silicone gel implants because most women find this implant type looks and feels more natural compared to implants filled with saline liquid.

This patient chose 355 cc cohesive silicone gel implants, placed during surgery submuscularly through a periareolar incision. Delivering on her goal of a natural-looking enhancement, her Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon made sure that the implants created breasts that sloped naturally from the top of the chest wall to the bottom of the breast. The implant size also helps to create a very natural appearance. She now wears a 36 C bra and is so happy and confident with her new fuller breasts.
